The Detailing Screens for the Portal Brace
Beams are not on the Bracing Member Data screen.
Portal
Brace Beam Data location:
The Beam Member Data and Detailing Data are
found in Bracing - Location - Shape
- Wall.
Then select the Portal Brace Tear.
Then select Properties.

Detailers
should only revise Member Data & Frame Data.
Any other revisions
will set the Design Status to NOT CURRENT and the building will need to be
re-designed & re-detailed.
Member Data
This screen is the same as the Frame Member
Data Screen.
Frame Data
This screen is the same as the Frame Data
Screen.
KBD Angles
& Support Strut (0000JS7-):
These
parts are on the Bracing Member Data screen.
Frame Data
The Quantity of the Beam (PPBX-) can be
revised, but the Member Data cannot be accessed from this screen.
KBD Angles
The Quantity & the Mark Number
(including the Length) of the Knee Brace Angles can be revised.
Support Struts
The Quantity & the Mark Number
(including the Length) of the Support Struts can be revised.
These
are only used when the Portal Brace Beam is located in
the Purlin Line (above the Frame).
The
0000JS7- mark number is valid.
